The notice period depends on whether your website has a Premium package or is a free website.
Premium package: 14 days before the end of the period
The Premium package runs for the contract period you chose, 6 or 12 months, and renews automatically for another period of the same length. To stop the renewal, terminate the package at least 14 days (2 weeks) before the end of the current period.
- If you terminate within the notice period, the package ends at the end of the current period.
- If you terminate later, the package renews once more and ends at the end of the following period.
- If the first period has not been paid yet, the package simply ends after the first period.
You can terminate at any time; the termination page shows the date on which your Premium package will end. How to do it is described in terminate the Premium package. Until the end of the period you can also revoke the termination.
Where do I see when my period ends?
Open My Package → My Package in the admin area. The section Current Package shows your Contract Period and the date Accounted Until, which is the end of the paid period. After a termination the Termination Date is shown there as well.
Domains
Domains that you ordered with your package run for one year each. The same notice period applies to a single domain: terminate it under My Package → Domains at least 14 days before the end of its domain year. A package termination always ends all domains of the website as well.
Free website: no notice period
A free website has no contract period and no notice period. You can delete it yourself at any time under Settings → Delete Website. Make sure you are in the admin area of the right website, especially if your account contains several websites: the website with all its pages and files is deleted permanently and cannot be restored.
If you want to delete the whole account, see delete account. This is only possible once no website in the account has a paid package or an unpaid booking.
