You can delete your account yourself at any time. Deleting the account removes all websites in it with all pages and files. If you only want to get rid of one website, delete that website instead and keep your account (see below).
Before you delete
- The deletion is final. We cannot restore an account or a website afterwards, so save any content you still need first.
- An account cannot be deleted while one of its websites has a paid package or an unpaid booking. Terminate the Premium package first; the account can be deleted after the paid period has ended. Open invoices have to be paid first.
- If you have several websites, check them all before you delete: the deletion covers every website in the account.
Delete the account
- Log in at admin.hpage.com and click the user icon in the top right corner.
- Open Account and switch to the tab Delete Account (or go directly to admin.hpage.com/app/account/termination).
- Enter your Current password. You may also tell us the Reason for the deletion; that helps us improve hPage, but it is optional.
- Click Delete Account and confirm with Delete Account permanently.
Your account and all its websites are deleted immediately and you are logged out.
Delete only one website
To remove one website but keep the account and your other websites:
- Select the website you want to delete in the website switcher at the top of the admin area and make sure its address is shown there.
- Open Settings → Delete Website in the left sidebar.
- Enter Your Password and click Delete Website; the confirmation shows the address of the website once more.
A website with a paid package cannot be deleted before its period ends. Until then you can take it offline under Settings → General with Deactivate my website.
Inactive accounts
According to our terms of service, accounts that have not been logged into for 365 days may be deleted. We send reminder e-mails to inactive accounts beforehand; a single login is enough to keep your account.
