Forgotten your password? No problem: you can set a new one yourself as long as you still have access to the e-mail address stored in your account.
Request a reset link
- Open the login page at admin.hpage.com and click Password forgotten? below the password field. You can also go directly to admin.hpage.com/resetPassword.
- Enter the e-mail address of your account (the address of your website, e.g.
yourname.hpage.com, works as well) and click Request Password Reset. - Confirm the question with Yes.
You will then see the message that an e-mail with a link has been sent, provided an account with this login name exists. For security reasons the message is the same in every case, so it does not reveal whether an account exists.
Choose a new password
- Open the e-mail from hPage and click the link in it. The link is valid for 48 hours.
- Enter your new password (at least 6 characters) and repeat it in the second field.
- Click Save.
You can now log in with the new password by clicking Back to login. If you have activated two-factor authentication, you will still be asked for the code from your authenticator app after entering the password.
The e-mail does not arrive
- Check the spam or junk folder of your mailbox.
- Make sure you entered the address that is stored in your hPage account. If you are not sure, enter the address of your website instead.
- Wait a few minutes; e-mail delivery can occasionally be delayed.
- At most 3 reset links are sent within 8 hours. Earlier links stay valid, so use the one you already received instead of requesting another.
No access to your e-mail address any more?
If you can no longer read e-mails at the address stored in your account, the reset link cannot reach you. In that case you need to verify your identity to us with a form; see Password forgotten without e-mail access.
