No. hPage does not offer FTP or SFTP access to your website, and we do not plan to add it. Everything you would do with FTP, from uploading files to getting a copy of your data, is done in the admin.
Why there is no FTP
hPage is built so that you can create a website without technical knowledge. Your pages are not static files on a web server but are generated from the content you edit in the admin, so there is no document root that an FTP client could work with. Files such as images and PDFs are stored in your file storage and delivered from there, with their own URLs.
Upload files: the file manager
Files → Upload Files takes any number of files at once by drag and drop, from a file dialog or from Dropbox, with up to 50 MB per file. See upload files and upload from Dropbox. In the file manager you organise the files in folders and copy the URL to this file for links, images and embed codes.
Use your own HTML, CSS and JavaScript
You do not need FTP to customise your website with code:
- Settings → Header Area takes the URL of an own, additional CSS stylesheet and own HTML code for the
<head>of every page. - Settings → General holds HTML that is added at the beginning and end of each page.
- In the content editor, Show HTML Editor gives you the HTML of a page, and the Embedded HTML element places any code snippet.
- Upload CSS, JavaScript and font files under Files (main folder Web Files) and reference them by their URL. With Premium you can also upload complete HTML files.

Get a copy of your website: Data Export
Premium websites can download all their data under Settings → Data Export. Click Create Data Export; the export is prepared in the background and listed under Requested data exports. When its Status is Completed, use Download Data Export to save a ZIP archive that contains your files and your content (pages, menu, galleries, blog, guestbook and other addons). A new export can be requested again after a waiting period that the page shows.
