The design settings adjust the current design to your website: the title in the header (as text or as your logo), the heading above the page content and the heading above the menu. They are kept when you switch to another design.
Open the design settings
- Log in at admin.hpage.com and click Design → Design Settings in the sidebar.
- Change the settings described below and click Save. The changes are visible on your website right away.
Title: text or logo
- Show title on website: untick this if your design should show neither a title text nor a logo.
- Type: choose Text or Logo (Graphic).
- For Text you can set Font color, Font and Font Size. The text itself is your website title, which you change under Settings → General in the field Website Title (3 to 40 characters).
- For Logo (Graphic) choose the image under Logo address (URL) from your files. Upload the logo first under Files → Upload Files (see Upload files). Width (optional) and Height (optional) are given in pixels: leave both empty to show the logo in its original size, or enter only a width to scale it while keeping its proportions.
Heading of the content
The content heading is shown above the content of each page, usually the title of the page. Untick Show content heading on website to hide it, or set its Font color, Font and Font Size.
Heading of the menu
Under Heading of the menu enter the Text that appears above your navigation menu and set its Font color, Font and Font Size.
More colours: the Design Editor
For template designs the sidebar also offers Design → Design Editor. It opens in a new window and lets you change the colours and further details of the current design. Changes in the Design Editor belong to the design you are using: if you switch to another design they are kept and apply again when you choose that design again.
