Visitor statistics

See how many people visit your website, which pages they open, where they come from and which devices they use, under Visitor Statistics.

hPage counts the visitors of your website for you. No extra tool and no code is needed: the statistics are available for every website in the admin.

Open the statistics

Log in at admin.hpage.com and click Visitor Statistics in the sidebar. At the top you see the totals of your website: Unique Visitors and Page Impressions.

  • A visitor is a person who opened your website; several page views by the same person count as one visitor.
  • A page impression is a single page view. One visitor who looks at five pages produces five page impressions.

Overview, last 14 days and last 24 hours

  • Overview for all years shows a chart and a table with the visitors and page impressions per year. Click Show Details on a year to drill down to its months, and on a month to its days.
  • Show last 14 days shows the development of the last two weeks at a glance.
  • Visitors of the last 24 hours (Premium) lists the single visits of the last day with the time of the visit, the page, the origin and the browser. Tick Hide bot visitors to see people only.

Details for a year, month or day

Open a year, month or day to see the reports for this period:

  • Top Pages: the pages that were opened most often.
  • Referers: the websites your visitors came from.
  • Keywords (Premium): the search terms visitors typed into a search engine before they came to you. Search engines rarely pass on these terms nowadays, so this report often stays short.
  • Geographic Origin (Premium): the countries and cities of your visitors on a map.
  • Browsers and User Devices: browsers, operating systems and screen resolutions.
  • Providers (Premium): the internet providers of your visitors.
  • Bots: search engine crawlers and other automatic visitors. They are counted separately so they do not distort your visitor numbers.
  • Members: visits of logged-in members of your Member Area.

A report that has no data for the period shows a note such as "There is no top pages report for this period."

Reset the statistics

Under Reset Statistics you can delete all counted data, for example after a relaunch of your website. Confirm with Reset Statistics. This cannot be undone.
